My Bio

Voice-over actress Dr Lara Wilson is also a professional vocalist and opera singer. Lara has voiced many commercials for national, regional and local companies such as Chick-fil-a, Weight Watchers, Universal Studios, Kay Jewelers, the New York Yankees and Pivotal Fitness.

Dr. Wilson is a lead singer in the rock band 48 Fables and soloist with the jazz combo Eleven11. Main-stage operatic and classical appearances include roles with Savannah Philharmonic, Harrisburg Opera, the Off Broadway company New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players, Ridge Light Opera, Opera Northeast, Theater of Monmouth, New York Chamber Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, dell'Arte Opera Ensemble, Natchez Opera Festival & New Bedford Symphony.

She holds a Doctorate in voice from the University of South Carolina, and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Indiana University and Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music respectively. Currently, Dr. Wilson is a college professor in Voice specializing in both classical and commercial styles.
