My Bio
My dad was a PR man, so I had my first gig at age 7, as the voice of a ladybug!
Throughout high school, college and my twenties, I lived for theater, acting, composing, directing and choreographing. I co-founded Tapestry Theater Company which ran strong for a decade in Wilmington, North Carolina.
As far as formal education, I studied film production at Penn State University and achieved an M.S. in Instructional Technology at the University of North Carolina.
During my career in radio, I deejayed for WWQQ, "Cape Fear’s Country Music Leader" and for WGNI, "Today’s Hits and Yesterday’s Favorites". As the hostess for Swap Shop on WAAV radio, I hawked items for my call-in listeners, such as used chipper-shredders, furniture, jewelry and even goats! My board operator always started the show by introducing me as the “Port City Princess of the Garage Sale of the Airwaves!”
My VO work spans decades of experience voicing commercials, narrations, announcements, anime, radio/television imaging, on hold messaging, documentaries, narration, and e-learning modules.
